We’ll hack the hype towards the next release of Apple Mac computers, to promote the Big Mac through a direct stunt that consists of a limited edition packaging with a very high-end, Apple-esque Art Direction
Before the week of the Apple launch event of 2022, McDonald’s will send Big Macs to important tech reviewers and unboxing ASMR experts, but with an unexpected packaging: the Big Macs will be delivered in special 13” and 15” boxes that replicate the style of the macbooks.

They both have products that share the same name: The “Big Mac” and the “Mac”
Why is this important?
Because it is… But no, really, every time that a new Mac comes out it takes the attention of not only enthusiasts but people all over the world, and if there’s something that McDonald’s likes is being everywhere, so we’ll take this opportunity to step into the tech industry and remind people to get a Mac after a Mac.
Then, ASMR/unboxing videos on Youtube, curious-driven TikToks and appealing photographs in Instagram posts will run through the internet showcasing how these influencers received the Big Macs, catching the attention of media outlets and fans of McDonald’s and Apple alike.
The goal is to start earning media during the launch week of the new macs, and tap into the conversation through this wording coincidence between the brands.
This is such a natural approach that we can extend it to other products like fries - iphone or ketchup - airpods.
