Hispanic GenZ ers are less likely to consider going to college and more likely to drop out of it.

How can we make them understand that a degree is worth achieving, and that there’s a program to help them get it? (Wells Fargo CollegeSteps).

As hispanics, we know that our family is the most important part of it all, that every little help and effort from our loved ones make us achieve our goals and that celebrating them makes no sense if they’re not there with us.

Also, it is common for hispanic parents and older relatives not to have a degree since they came looking for a better future with limited resources, almost always, directly to work.

So instead of just thanking them like in a usual speech, we congratulate them, because the truth is, they achieved it too.
